FALL RECITAL 2013

Tomorrow we have close to 100 students performing in our FALL MUSIC RECITAL tomorrow!  We have students who have been taking piano lessons, voice lessons, guitar lessons, violin lessons and cello lessons in the Treasure Coast and Port Saint Lucie area performing!  The venue is free to the public, and will be located at First United Methodist Church at 260 SW Prima Vista Blvd.  Our show times are at 9, 10:30 and 12. Different students at every show!  We especially thank our gold sponsor DRCTC for providing the main sponsorship to make this possible.  We cannot wait to see all of our talented kids tomorrow!  Good luck everyone!  You will make me so proud!

Is VIOLIN more difficult than PIANO?

Why is violin a hard instrument to play?  I feel it is harder for one very simple reason.  You have to use your ear!  In piano, you touch a key and it is ready to go, and makes a great sound.  In violin,  you have to get the posture correct, your finger on the right place on the neck of the violin, in the right position, at the right angle, and then add a bow.......you can now see why I really value my violin teacher, and why I tell parents to be patient with their child when they pursue violin.
